What Is Safer Gambling Week About?
Safer gambling week is an initiative run by safergamblinguk.org which used to be called responsible gambling week. All websites associated with gambling in the UK should display and share the Safer Gambling Week information.
The idea behind this is to strike up a conversation and raise awareness of the risks of gambling addiction, how to gamble safely and responsibly, and where to get help.
Who Is Safer Gambling Week For?
Safer gambling week is for everyone. Parents, teenagers, schools, colleges, universities, support services, friends and family. It’s a chance to discuss your thoughts about gambling. Encourage those who gamble to be open about their gambling, use responsible gambling tools, and where & when to seek help (should they need it).
